Overview: DJA Electric Co. is a locally owned electrical contractor based in South Hadley, Massachusetts, serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients throughout Western Massachusetts.
My Role: Designed, built, and launched a full Squarespace website for DJA Electric from the ground up. The project covered everything from site architecture and copywriting to local SEO, analytics setup, and conversion tracking -- giving the business a professional online presence and the tools to measure its performance.
What I did:
Built the full site from scratch in Squarespace -- structure, layout, and all page copy
Optimized every page for local search with targeted SEO titles, meta descriptions, and South Hadley / Western Massachusetts keyword strategy
Implemented GA4 and set up Google Search Console for ongoing performance tracking
Configured conversion tracking to measure lead-generating actions
Organized service content for clarity and easier navigation across residential, commercial, and industrial offerings Initiated Google Business Profile setup to strengthen local search visibility
Results(7 Weeks Post Launch):
Improved ranking for “South Hadley electrician” from page 9 to page 4 within 7 weeks of launch
Generated 101 organic impressions and 14 organic clicks on a brand new domain with no previous web presence
182 new users tracked via GA4 in the first 7 weeks
Note: Results achieved without a Google Business Profile -- initiated setup but pending owner verification, representing a significant untapped growth opportunity
